Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve positive outcomes
• Monitor patient progress and document everything thoroughly
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healing environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior Med/Surg nursing experience is a plus
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different patient needs and unit environments

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of med-surg nursing principles and best practices
• Skilled in IV therapy, wound care, and patient assessment
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in safe medication administration
