Shift Type: Per diem, 6-hour shifts; schedule varies based on facility needs
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and recovery
- Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
- Advocate for the well-being of every child in your care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic pediatric environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric medication administration and dosing
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Family-centered care principles
- Electronic health records (EHR) charting
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Emergency response and crisis management
