Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
• Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and recovery
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
• Advocate for the well-being of every child in your care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic pediatric environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach

• Pediatric medication administration and dosing
• Patient assessment and monitoring
