Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with providers and families

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Previous Med/Surg nursing experience is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, caring environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices
• Skilled in patient assessment, wound care, and medication administration
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptable and organized in a dynamic clinical setting
