Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Previous Med/Surg or Telemetry experience preferred
• Willingness to float to West Des Moines campus as needed
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Knowledge of Med/Surg nursing best practices
• Skilled in IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic bedside manner
