Roles & Responsibilities

• Formulate individualized care plans and adjust them based on each patient's response to treatment and overall progress.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care, ensuring the healthcare team delivers safe, effective, and compassionate treatment.
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks efficiently to meet the needs of a dynamic medical-surgical patient population.
• Use assessment data to identify patient care needs, including patient education and discharge planning.
• Recognize and report abnormal assessment findings, incorporating them into the care plan to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document all patient care activities, from medication administration to wound assessments and progress notes.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to health care team members to maximize efficiency and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire RN License or Compact license (required, must upload with profile)
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• 3+ years of current Medical-Surgical experience (required)
• Previous travel experience of at least 6 months (required)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Telemetry/Progressive Care experience preferred
• Must have reliable transportation for this assignment
• Ability to work the posted schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

• Strong patient assessment and care planning skills
• Expertise in Medical-Surgical nursing and EPIC EMR
• Proficient in patient education and accurate documentation
• Effective delegation and team coordination abilities
• Telemetry and progressive care monitoring skills
• Ability to recognize and respond to abnormal assessment data
