Location: Soldotna, AK

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, schedule may include weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active Alaska RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to complete on-site medication testing within first two weeks
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
