Location: Garrison, North Dakota

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating schedule with every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse leading the care team with confidence and compassion
Administer medications accurately and monitor residents for positive outcomes
Provide skilled wound care that promotes healing and comfort
Build meaningful relationships with residents living with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with physicians by phone for seamless after-hours support

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Prior long-term care experience preferred
Strong assessment and medication administration skills

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable working independently as charge nurse
Skilled in medication passing and basic wound care
Familiar with Matrix EMR documentation
Able to provide person-centered care for residents with chronic conditions
