Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating schedule with every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse while delivering compassionate long-term care
Administer medications and perform essential wound care for residents
Build meaningful relationships with a close-knit community of 26 residents
Monitor and support residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with physicians by phone for after-hours needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Prior long-term care experience preferred
Comfortable working independently as the primary nurse on shift

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and medication administration skills
Wound care experience
Ability to work autonomously in a smaller facility setting
Excellent communication with residents, families, and the care team
