Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 15-bed LDRP unit
Monitor and interpret fetal strips to ensure the safest outcomes for mom and baby
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER when needed, showcasing your adaptability across the hospital
Collaborate with CNAs and surgical techs to deliver seamless patient experiences
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to maintain excellent care standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips confidently
Strong critical thinking and adaptability to change

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Critical thinking under pressure
Drip titration for Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
Meditech EMR proficiency
Philips telemetry and Traceview/PIP EFM systems
Floating comfortably between LDRP, Med-Surg, and ER
