Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies in a busy Birthing Center handling 150-180 deliveries monthly
Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring a smooth start for every family
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support high-risk pregnancies
Collaborate with a 24/7 in-house OB team and anesthesia providers for seamless patient care
Float within the LDRP unit to support postpartum moms and babies with routine competencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Preferred: Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable working independently in labor, delivery, and circulating C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP clinical skills from 33 weeks and above, including high-risk cases
Experience with Centricity Perinatal and EPIC documentation systems
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips confidently
Adaptable to unit workflows, policies, and constructive feedback
