Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday) and holiday rotation with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support patient needs
Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Anesthesia providers 24/7
Support high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use cases
Float within the Birthing Center to Mother Baby and Postpartum units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
No first-time travelers accepted

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Centricity Perinatal and EPIC documentation systems
Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
High-risk OB patient management
Team collaboration in a fast-paced birthing environment
