Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural community setting
- Perform expert triage assessments to ensure timely, safe care for every patient
- Titrate Pitocin drips with precision to support healthy labor progression
- Serve as the primary baby catcher and transition nurse during deliveries
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team where every shift makes a real difference
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- Current BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience with LDRP training
- Comfortable functioning independently in a rural hospital environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong LDRP and triage expertise
- Pitocin titration experience
- Ability to manage both laboring patients and newborn transitions
- Flexible and resourceful approach to rural healthcare challenges
