Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural hospital setting
Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse during deliveries
Titrate Pitocin drips to support safe labor progression
Collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent outcomes for moms and babies
Support postpartum recovery and newborn care with skill and empathy

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience with LDRP training
Ability to function independently as a baby catcher and transition nurse

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage skills
Experience with Pitocin titration
Comfortable working in a small, rural hospital environment
Ability to read fetal monitoring strips and respond appropriately
