Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP unit
Monitor fetal heart tracings using OB Trace Vue and respond to changes
Administer and titrate medications including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and pain management
Support postpartum recovery and mother-baby couplet care
Collaborate with a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment
Float to MSP/ED as needed for 1:1 patient sitting

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D or LDRP experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Comfortable with neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
Ability to pass fit testing for N95 respirator (no facial hair barriers)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery, postpartum, and fetal monitoring
Proficient in titrating IV drips (Magnesium, Oxytocin, etc.)
Strong teamwork and independence in a rural setting
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of AWHONN staffing guidelines
