Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical medications including Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
Support beautiful mom-baby couplets through postpartum recovery and education
Circulate during C-sections to ensure the safest arrival for newborns
Deliver expert neonatal care including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow support
Collaborate with a tight-knit rural healthcare team where your independence truly matters

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited resources

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care
Experience with OB Trace Vue electronic fetal monitoring system
Ability to titrate drips and respond quickly to changing patient needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to float to other units when needed for patient support
