Registered Nurse - LDRP
Location: Dickinson, North Dakota
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Monitor and titrate critical drips such as Magnesium and Oxytocin to ensure safe deliveries
- Support postpartum recovery by caring for mom-baby couplets with skill and empathy
- Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections while advocating for the newborn
- Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when needed to lend a helping hand
- Maintain clear communication and independent decision-making in a rural hospital setting
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Comfortable working independently in a rural facility with limited NICU access
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Experience with OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system
- Ability to manage neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and provider collaboration skills
