Registered Nurse - LDRP
Location: Canon City, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirements based on census
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby units
- Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
- Support patients with high BMI, diabetes, and substance use needs with compassion and expertise
- Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips using the OBIX system
- Collaborate with a minimum 2-RN staffing model to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Float within Zone 1 facilities when needed to support team operations
Qualifications
- Active Colorado or compact nursing license
- ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
- LDRP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to titrate drips and manage complex OB patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
- Experience with bubble CPAP and basic respiratory support
- Comfortable working in a 4-bed L&D, 4-bed postpartum unit with 220 births per year
- Flexible and team-oriented approach to floating within the zone
