Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive environment
Circulate C-sections with confidence and precision when needed
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond quickly to any changes
Support families through birth plans while following AWHONN guidelines
Collaborate with OB techs and on-call neonatologists for seamless care
Float between L&D and Postpartum units to keep every day dynamic

Qualifications

Active California RN license
2 years of recent L&D/PP experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Travel experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring skills with Fetal Link experience
Comfortable circulating C-sections and managing high-risk deliveries
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced unit
Ability to support patient-centered birth plans with empathy
