Location: Pendleton, Oregon

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, independent care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and both Routine and Intermediate Nursery settings
- Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate while ensuring patient safety
- Collaborate with a close-knit team where every nurse serves as backup for the others
- Float as a helping hand to other units when needed, showcasing your versatility and teamwork
- Jump between assignments with ease as patient volumes shift throughout your shift
- Support moms, babies, and families through every stage of the birth experience
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Strong experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
- Comfort with fetal monitoring and central monitoring systems
Knowledge & Skills
- Confident managing both high-volume and low-volume shifts
- Skilled at reading fetal strips and maternal cardiac monitoring
- Familiar with AWHONN staffing guidelines and best practices
- Ready to stabilize and transfer neonates using vent or Bubble CPAP when needed
