Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert Labor & Delivery care to mothers and newborns
Circulate in the OR for C-section procedures with precision and care
Perform thorough newborn assessments and routine baby care
Float to Postpartum unit to support both infant and maternal recovery
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Monitor high-risk OB patients with compassion and clinical excellence
Collaborate with OB/Neonatologists and CRNAs for seamless care delivery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Ability to circulate in the OR for Labor & Delivery cases
Competency in newborn assessment and postpartum care
Willingness to float to Postpartum and occasional sitter assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and positive attitude
Flexibility and eagerness to learn new challenges
Experience with high-risk OB and routine obstetric care
Comfortable titrating drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Familiarity with Obix EFM system preferred
