Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring patients with 1:1 ratios
- Support mothers through postpartum recovery and antepartum needs
- Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin and Magnesium
- Deliver exceptional care across obstetrics, postpartum, and GYN surgical patients
- Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse each shift
- Maintain the highest standards in a breastfeeding-friendly unit
Qualifications
- Active RN license with minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Comfortable with titration of drips and AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Valid driver's license for radius verification
- Willingness to complete open-book skills exam during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Labor and delivery expertise

- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
