Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring patients with 1:1 ratios
- Support mothers through antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum journeys
- Monitor and titrate medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
- Care for patients with hypertension, diabetes, and post-surgical GYN needs
- Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and supportive interdisciplinary team
- Maintain excellent patient experience scores in a Blue Distinction+ facility
Qualifications
- Active RN license with minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Valid driver's license for radius verification
- Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
- Willingness to follow facility policies including no artificial nails in patient care areas
Knowledge & Skills
- Labor and delivery expertise
- Postpartum and antepartum care
- Titration of drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
- AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
