Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-Hour Day shifts, flexible to include other shifts, weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn Nursery
Support mothers and babies during around 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections monthly
Step up as charge nurse after training to lead the team
Float to other departments when qualified, ensuring seamless patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn
Flexible availability for days, other shifts, weekends and holidays
American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO, BLS, NRP and AWHONN Advanced FHM (or RNC-EFM substitute)

Education

Registered Nurse licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care
Newborn nursery management
Charge nurse leadership capabilities
BFHI practices with babies rooming in with moms
