Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate compassionate nursing care for patients from pediatric to geriatric in the fast-paced ER
• Perform expert triage using the Emergency Severity Index to prioritize needs effectively
• Deliver safe, age-appropriate assessments and life-saving interventions with precision
• Collaborate seamlessly with providers and teams to optimize patient outcomes and flow
• Advocate fiercely for patients, ensuring their voices are heard in every decision
• Respond calmly to crises, directing care with confidence and efficiency
• Maintain meticulous documentation and equipment readiness for seamless shifts

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Nursing license or active Compact Licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications (ATCN preferred)
• 2+ years of relevant ER experience
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

Education

• Two-year nursing degree required, four-year degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage expertise with ESI 5-level process
• Proficiency in IV insertions, medication administration, and emergency resuscitation
• Strong communication and advocacy skills in high-stress environments
• Computer documentation savvy for accurate patient records
