Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and psychosocial needs throughout their care journey, making a real difference every shift
• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Execute provider interventions in the ER, prioritizing urgent needs and evaluating outcomes
• Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless communication and support
• Document accurately and efficiently while utilizing systems to boost productivity
• Educate patients, families, and staff to empower better health decisions
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to elevate hospital standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Experience in acute inpatient, swing bed, and emergency room settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, PALS a plus
• Strong assessment and prioritization skills for fast-paced ER environments

Education

• RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in nursing process from assessment to evaluation
• Proficiency with ER equipment, instrumentation, and medications
• Skilled in T-System documentation and therapeutic interventions
• Excellent communication for liaising with physicians and teams
