Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, Sunday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms with precision and care
Conduct stress and dobutamine stress echocardiograms to aid critical diagnoses
Assist in trans esophageal echocardiography procedures
Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and promptly notify cardiologists
Collaborate with cardiologists to customize non-standard exams
Participate in call rotation to ensure round-the-clock patient support

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification preferred
Experience in echocardiography procedures
Ability to handle call rotation including holidays
Strong communication skills for consulting with cardiologists

Education

Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or related field
ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in adult transthoracic echocardiograms
Proficiency with stress and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
Skilled in trans esophageal echocardiography assistance
Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation protocols
