Hospital Pharmacist
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day/evening shifts, 40 hours per week, rotating weekends 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM, occasional 3rd shift (overnight) as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpret and transcribe medication orders with precision to keep patients safe
- Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including IVs and chemotherapy for critical care
- Monitor drug therapies for interactions and optimal dosing to enhance patient outcomes
- Provide expert clinical consultations and cost-effective alternatives to physicians
- Educate patients, families, and staff on medications to empower better health decisions
- Participate in quality improvement and code team responses to make a real impact
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing
- EPIC experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
- Graduate of ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
