Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating on-call and alternating weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Interventional Radiologists with imaging-guided invasive procedures that directly impact patient outcomes
- Coordinate daily IR schedules to keep procedures running smoothly and on time
- Collaborate with floor RNs and imaging techs to ensure seamless patient care across departments
- Monitor and manage sedation for patients undergoing radiology procedures
- Place peripheral IVs and support patients throughout their interventional journey
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
- Comfortable working with both inpatient and outpatient populations, including the possibility of pediatric patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Interventional Radiology procedures including paras, thoras, biopsies, and drainages
- Sedation monitoring and patient safety during procedures
- PIV placement and IV management
- Cerner EMR documentation
- MRI-safe pumps and EKG monitor operation
