Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient status continuously, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and adjust care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families during challenging times
• Document everything accurately to ensure seamless continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state - let's get started!
• BCLS (BLS) certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
• 1-2 years of ICU or critical care experience ideal
• A heart for critical care and a knack for staying calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of ICU equipment, ventilators, and monitoring systems
• Sharp assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients, families, and staff
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR)
