Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, individualized nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor for changes in condition
• Develop and implement evidence-based care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Educate and support patients and their families through complex treatment journeys

Qualifications

• You have at least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• You hold an active Maryland RN license or compact license with recent verification
• You're certified in BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association
• You're comfortable obtaining NIHSS and mRS/SIREN certifications within 48 hours if offered
• You have EPIC charting experience and are ready to hit the ground running
• You're fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (state record required, no declinations accepted)
• You have previous travel experience and no scheduling restrictions
• You can provide supervisory references and a specialty-specific skills checklist

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert clinical knowledge of ICU nursing protocols and patient care standards
• Skilled in using EPIC for charting, order entry, and documentation
• Proficient in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and mRS/SIREN assessments
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
