Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old
Titrate life-saving medications including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Monitor and interpret telemetry using Draeger heart monitoring systems
Collaborate with physicians, fellows, and residents on complex cases including neuro surgery, cardiogenic shock, and multi-organ dysfunction
Float to various inpatient units while maintaining excellence in patient care
Respond to rapid response teams and codes alongside the charge nurse

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2 years of recent ICU experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Ability to pass skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and centralized monitoring
Drip titration for vasopressors, paralytics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Advanced procedures such as CRRT, Impella, balloon pump, and ICP monitoring
Critical thinking and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment
