Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients in a 33-bed ICU with an average daily census of 16
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips while managing complex medication drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation infusions
Manage ventilator support from nasal cannula through full mechanical ventilation for patients experiencing respiratory distress
Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver safe, patient-centered care at 1:2-3 ratios
Float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards
Respond to on-call situations within 30 minutes when required

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong telemetry monitoring, drip titration, and ventilator management experience
Valid driver's license to confirm 50-mile radius compliance
Willingness to complete open-book skills exam with 90% passing score during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Safe titration of cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips
Ventilator management from basic oxygen delivery to full support
Care for trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and heart failure patients
Floating flexibility between ICU, PCU, and MedSurg units
