Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications with precision and safety
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while collaborating with the tele tech team
Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining excellent patient ratios
Respond to on-call situations within 30 minutes when required
Support patients through trauma recovery, cardiac events, stroke care, and respiratory distress

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation and documentation skills
Experience with cardiac, insulin, and sedation drip titration
Comfort managing vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Ability to adapt to floating assignments while maintaining quality care
Excellent critical thinking and rapid response abilities
