Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-level nursing care to critically ill patients in a mixed ICU setting (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU)
• Titrate and manage critical drips, including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin, and more
• Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes confidently
• Manage ventilator and respiratory care, troubleshooting as needed
• Float between multiple facilities within Zone 3, adapting quickly to diverse patient populations and teams
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain compliance with all protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips
• Prior travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices
• Expertise in critical drips titration
• Skilled in telemetry interpretation
• Proficient in ventilator management
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to float and adapt to various ICU acuity levels
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
