Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient care, including taking X-rays, impressions, and applying braces
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to ensure a safe environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans in the dental system
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional experiences

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training preferred
• State licensure as required in Maryland (if applicable)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Denticon) is a bonus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
