Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and proper dental care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Document patient oral health and treatment plans accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene and patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work per diem as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Skilled in patient education and preventive care
• Comfortable using dental software for charting and documentation
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control
