Shift Type: Wednesday, 12:50 PM - 8:00 PM (call-off shift; regular Mon-Thu 8:50 AM - 5:00 PM, Fri 8:50 AM - 1:40 PM)
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding preventive dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Review patient medical histories and document care accurately in the dental record
- Educate patients on oral health best practices, hygiene routines, and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile, organized treatment area
- Adhere to all dental regulations, infection control protocols, and office policies
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical dental hygiene skills and experience
- Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
- Ability to work independently and as a reliable part of the team
- Familiarity with dental software and radiography equipment
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough understanding of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and materials
- Proficiency in dental radiography and X-ray safety practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA standards for patient safety and privacy
- Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients of all ages
- Time management and attention to detail in a fast-paced dental office
- Compassionate approach to easing patient anxiety and promoting trust
