Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize operatories and instruments to ensure a safe, efficient workspace
- Assist the orthodontist with procedures, including bracket placement and wire changes
- Take and pour dental impressions and fabricate models
- Capture and mount radiographs as needed
- Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Certified or registered dental assistant in Maryland (or eligible)
- Prior orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
- Radiation safety and dental radiography skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Denticon)
- Excellent patient communication and troubleshooting skills
