Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures and treatments
• Prepare patients for orthodontic appointments with a welcoming approach
• Sterilize and organize instruments and operatory rooms
• Take and prepare dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and oral hygiene

Qualifications

• Current Orthodontic Certification required
• Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus
• Ability to obtain Maryland dental assisting credentials if not already held
• Passion for patient care and attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
• Proficiency with dental software and digital X-rays
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
