Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments, ensuring comfort and confidence
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, maintaining a smooth workflow
• Sterilize and organize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene

Qualifications

• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• X-ray certification and compliance with state regulations
• Experience in orthodontic or dental assisting preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Chairside assisting techniques specific to orthodontics
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Proficient in taking dental radiographs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
