Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living support to geriatric residents
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transferring, and positioning to ensure safety
• Support residents with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
• Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work evening shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Strong communication and empathy
• Attention to detail in monitoring patient conditions
