Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings and examinations
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and hygiene techniques
• Take and develop dental x-rays (radiographs) as needed
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to deliver comprehensive dental treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Familiarity with dental software and record keeping
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Empathy and a gentle touch for anxious patients
