Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients across a variety of acuity levels, including medical-surgical, telemetry, PCU/Stepdown, and ICU (low acuity holds)
• Float throughout assigned zones within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to different units and team dynamics
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, recognizing and responding to changes in patient conditions
• In times of low census, support the team in a CNA/Sitter capacity to ensure patient safety and hours are met
• Document care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Uphold infection control, safety, and evidence-based practices in all patient interactions

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Utah (or compact license) - submit DL for verification
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Must be comfortable floating and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in EPIC charting system
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and patient acuities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and interpretation
