Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other clinical indicators
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during critical moments
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
