Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient status

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Ability to think quickly and act decisively in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices
• Comfort with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and IV therapies
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and charting
• Understanding of evidence-based practice in critical care
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking
