Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and telemetry
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healing environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) required
• Experience in med-surg or telemetry preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to changing patient needs
• A compassionate heart and a commitment to excellence in patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities
• Comfort with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems
