Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists in delivering exceptional patient care and comfort
• Operate the GBT machine for advanced biofilm management and air polishing
• Efficiently manage two operatories (columns) to ensure smooth patient flow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts
• Support the dental team in a fast-paced clinical environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a dental assistant or dental hygienist assistant (preferred)
• Familiarity with GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) machine operation
• Ability to manage multiple operatories and work efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Dental assistant certification or relevant training (if required by state)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• GBT machine operation and maintenance
• Sterilization and infection control protocols
• Patient scheduling and chairside assistance
• Basic computer skills for electronic health records
