Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and telemetry rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered education and support to patients and their families
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and provide emergent care as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in acute care or medical-surgical nursing (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to diverse patient needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing practices
• Skill in using electronic health records and medical equipment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
