Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures with a gentle, caring approach
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to keep a safe, clean environment
• Capture dental X-rays and ensure clear imaging for accurate diagnosis
• Comfort and reassure young patients to create a positive dental experience
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and treatment plans
• Maintain detailed patient records and support the dental team with clinical tasks

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training is required
• Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children and parents
• Ability to work evening shifts with a flexible per diem schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols
• Comfortable taking X-rays and using dental software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for working with kids and promoting oral health
