Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings and comprehensive oral health assessments
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient visits
• Document patient care and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
• Follow strict infection control protocols to keep every patient safe

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques, tools, and best practices
• Skill in using dental software for charting and records
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control procedures
• Ability to build rapport with diverse patients
• Manual dexterity and precision in dental procedures
